Grey/brown geckos, previously Hoplodactylus
The grey and brown geckos were previously classified in the genus Hoplodactylus. In 2011 new taxonomic information has led to a revision, and there are now the six genera of Hoplodactylus, Dactylocnemis, Mokopirirakau, Toropuku and Tukutuku and Woodworthia. There are likely to be further changes to these names as the relationships become better understood.
